Wedding Photography at Our Lady Help of Christians, Kentish Town.

It is hardly surprising that photographs taken inside Churches are often powerful as well as beautiful - Church's were designed to impress upon those within them the greatness of God, after all.

Now, you might ask, why do I like 'the shot up the isle' so much when its been done once or twice before...?

Yes, it is a 'classic'.   It is, however, also the perspective which your guests have of your wedding service.  You may remember looking at the Priest, but your guests also remember looking at the Priest ... and at your backs.

As well as that, most Churches have a powerful symmetry, and the photograph on the left captures this in Our Lady Help of Christians in Kentish Town.  The photograph is taken from about 3 feet high - about the same height as the seated couple - although most of the image is above the camera. This draws the viewer's eye down the isle to the couple, and then up to Christ on the Cross and the organist above.

On the right, Marie looks absolutely radiant in an unposed, impromptu wedding portrait.
